Burkle Announces Retirement of Lutz Eggert; Appointment of Brent Warren

Dec. 17, 2008 - Long-Term Industry Veteran Announces Retirement Dates

Ralf Spindler, Managing Director of Bürkle GmbH of Freudenstadt Germany and Richard Crowe, President of Bürkle North America announce personnel changes at Bürkle North America.

Ralf Spindler announced today the retirement of industry veteran Lutz Eggert effective at the end of 2008. Eggert will remain as a Special Consultant to Bürkle North America until July 1st, 2009. Spindler said that “Lutz Eggert has been a valuable contributor to Bürkle over many years and has been instrumental in melding the Bürkle Woodworking Product Line into the Bürkle North America business over the past several years. His knowledge of the woodworking market in North America and his detailed process knowledge will be missed.” Richard Crowe, President of Bürkle North America, also commented that “Lutz’s help and contributions have made the combining of the various Bürkle businesses into one entity a great success.”

Crowe continued, “With Lutz’s retirement I am pleased to announce that Brent Warren has been promoted to the position of Business Unit Manager-Woodworking Product Group, effective January 1, 2009. Brent has extensive industry experience and will be a great leader of this part of our overall business.
